In game development it is a good practice to make entry level easy by communicating to new players as much in a way they already know, so you can grow a new audience fast.
In the political domain entry level play is extremely hard by design, so growth is limited at the gate.
What is strange though, becoming aware while writing this, is that after the Mastodon/#brexit the entry level language on the official website of the European Union has not changed to Französisch, Italiano or Allemande, terwijl dat nu de drie grootste moedertalen zijn op ons grondgebied. Is Europa nu een ontwikkelende game of het politieke domein?
